Description of the game :
Team Fortress 2 is a team-based first-person shooter multiplayer video game developed by Valve Corporation. It is a sequel to the original mod Team Fortress and its GoldSrc engine remake. It was first released as part of the video game compilation The Orange Box on October 10, 2007 for Windows and the Xbox 360. A PlayStation 3 version then followed on November 22, 2007. The game was later released as a standalone package for Windows on April 8, 2008, for OS X two years later, and for Linux on February 14, 2013. Team Fortress 2 is distributed online through the download retailer Steam, while retail distribution was handled by Electronic Arts. On June 23, 2011, the game became a free-to-play title, supported by microtransactions for unique in-game equipment through Steam (this does not make it Pay-To-Win). The development of Team Fortress 2 is led by John Cook and Robin Walker, who originally created the Team Fortress modification for Quake in 1996.

Server Status : Trading servers (as in the ability to trade) (both TF2 and Steam) are currently reliable. (At the time you read this is may be different) http://status.tf2lists.com/
Current bugs : (Anything in parenthesis is added by me)
Last update on October 1st fixed these things :
Improved memory usage for Mac clients (No significant results for most users)
Fixed an exploit that allowed item nametags to go beyond the 40 character limit (The 2 people who found this got 2 unusuals of their choice)
Fixed a bug where reflected rocket explosions from non-stock flamethrowers would cause the flame sound to loop
tf_teamtalk is now on by default - the dead can talk to the living
When you mute a player, the mute settings now apply to text chat as well as voice chat. If you want the previous behavior, change convar cl_mute_all_comms to 0. (A great thing they added, now assholes are blocked even more.)
More weapon models are now loaded on demand to reduce overall memory usage (This means your backpack will load slower but you will have a lesser chance of crashing due to memory issues)
Added "Enable/Disable Auto TeamBalance" votes. Successful votes will enable/disable team player count balancing Use sv_vote_issue_autobalance_allowed to control if this vote is enabled on the server (Votes not allowed in Mann vs. Machine, Medieval mode, Arena mode, Tournament Mode, or Training. Self-explanatory why this is good)
Increased overtime to 45 seconds Added more sound cues when overtime starts Dropped reactor cores now blink on the HUD when they are about to return Added latest art assets to blue base exterior
Undocumented changes :
Renamed "Enchantment: Eternaween" to "Eternaween". Added a description to Tipped Lid.

EXPLOITS THAT STILL WORK : (by class)
Scout Exploits The Soda Popper's hype and the Baby Face's Blaster's boost share the same item effect meter. This allows players to farm hype during set up times, switch weapons and have almost maximum speed right away.
With the Flying Guillotine, if the player runs towards a thin wall and throws the projectile, the projectile can go through the wall.
Soldier Exploits After gaining a full rage meter for any banner item (Buff Banner, Battalion's Backup, or Concheror), equipping a different banner and blowing the horn while touching a resupply locker will transfer the rage to that banner.
Using the Cow Mangler 5000's alt-fire to set oneself on fire allows the player to activate the Market Gardener after he lands. The crit mechanic checks two things: that the player is airborne, and that the player is damaged by his Rocket Launcher. If the player jumps while on fire from their own Cow Mangler 5000's alt fire, they can inflict critical hits before they land.
Using any of the Flamethrowers and firing in a downwards position will sometimes cause flame particles to go through thin walls, such as setup gates, and ignite players on the other side of the gate.
Building Exploits An Engineer can constantly use their Teleporter to farm points, as they are awarded one half-point for every time they take their own Teleporter. (Xbox 360 and PS3 versions only)
If an Engineer switches to the different Wrench while having a Gunslinger equipped, holding an undeployed Mini Sentry Gun toolbox inside of a spawn room, the player can still place down a Mini-Sentry Gun.
Building a Teleporter Exit on a staircase and then an Entrance above it will cause players to become trapped when they use the Teleporter. (This exploit can be used to launch the player a long distance. By building a Sentry Gun and shooting the player with the Wrangler in the direction that want to fly, then destroying the Teleporter Entrance, the player will be launched a long distance.)
"Needle Boosting" involves a player standing over a Medic, who then proceeds to shoot their Syringe Gun upward as the player jumps. Due to a physics error, the Medic's Syringe Gun needles propel the target upward. (Xbox 360 and PS3 versions only) When using a Strange Medi Gun in Mann Vs. Machine, you can use the pre-round ÜberCharge boost to rank up the weapon.
Spies can place Sappers through thin walls, sapping buildings on the other side. (PS3 version only)
COOL GLITCHES THAT WORK (sometimes or always)
The Wrenchslinger - Occasionally, while a player has the Wrench equipped, it shows the Wrench being held by the Gunslinger. The method to do this is by equipping the Gunslinger, going to the resupply locker, changing to your Wrench, and going to the resupply locker once again.
Spy's Third Arm Glitch - When a player reloads his Revolver and quickly equips the Dead Ringer or any other form of cloaking device, a second left arm will be reloading the Revolver, while the first is holding the Dead Ringer. The glitch occurs when a player has their viewmodel_fov higher than 65. Another example is when the Spy is holding the Dead Ringer out with a weapon other than the default Sapper out, (say, the knife) and switches to the Sapper. The Spy's left arm is holding the Dead Ringer, but a second left arm appears to turn on the Sapper.
Inability to lose on Mann Vs. Machine - It is possible that when the bomb detonates the game will continue without forcing a loss. The pit will appear exploded so when players from either team walk onto it they will die. This may only happen if there are only two to five players on the server.
Infinite Market Gardener Crit - If a player rocket jumps just between 0 to 1 sec of the waiting for players countdown, when the round starts the player's Market Gardener will crit until they die, rocket jump or hold the Rocket Launcher for too long.
Now on to the economy!
Keys went up to 9 ref, so refined metal is worth less.
This means a few things - Low-tier traders (Hats, weapons, no unusual trades generally) are hurt because their main currency is beginning to be worth even less, and unless valve pulls something like the collectors again, the market may experience a crash (it is impossible to tell how big).
Backpack.tf high-value prices are beginning to become largely untrusted - I have been trading on bp.tf prices for about a year, and recently I see more and more people telling me they wont buy my items at bp.tf prices because the community will accept anything. This issue is something for the bp.tf community to handle, but unless a new, better spreadsheet price-list comes out, lots of people will continue to use their prices.
TF2outpost has become an even better way to sell your items for real-life currency, making it THE place to be if your looking to cash out. This will help, because even though the price of keys has gone up, the market for people who are cashing out is still around $2.00 (thats US currency BTW) and most buyers will accept Bitcoin and not just PayPal, but you can just as eaisly trade in your Bitcoin for PayPal.
Lots of unusual's price point is either outdated or not-reliable. This is not just on bp.tf, but people are set on only setting new prices for high-teir unusuals. This means that alot of the "obscure* unusuals that people generally have cannot be bought and have to be "privatley" sold to someone who wants that specific hat/effect as a unusual (its generally the hat, a certain effect can be found on many different types of hat)
Take my unusual Toy Tailor with the effect Miami Nights for example - im selling for 2.5 buds when bp.tf says its worth 3. BUT, since that price has a red exclamation mark, saying the price is outdated, nobody will buy my unusual because they dont know if they can flip it for a profit... Ive even tried selling for 2 buds, and hats the LOW price, but since the price is "outdated", nobody wants to buy it. Even the top Miami Nights unusual collector didnt want to buy (Thanks for furthering my research man).
(by the way if anyone wants to buy it PM me on reddit with your offer)
Phishers have a new tactic :
They make a site that has a picture that looks like a screenshot page on steam. They ask you if you want to buy the item, and if you do they will have to get on their other account. If you click the link its just like a phishing link, be careful of this.
ACTUALLY, be carefull of any link you get.
I had a friend get hacked and the hacker use his account to try to get to me but my friend was able to get on his other account (both were on my friends) and tell me. After reporting the account for being hacked (my friend told me to) he was able to recover it and has since moved accounts.
So, ive gone over bugs, the economy, what to watch out for...
Oh yes! Unusual taunts, and the unusual thirst blood (and also "future unusual miscs")!
So unusual taunts are not worth buying currently. If your thinking about it, wait for more to be unboxed, the price goes down and there like regular unusuals, some are 1 bud, some are 100. Unusual Thirst Blood - If your thinking of unboxing, please try to get one of these. With all the opportunity for one, we NEED more so that the price goes down since they re so overpriced. Future unusual miscs - DONT belive this. Its not been confirmed on any of them, so its not worth overpaying for something that might not even happen.
Finally, the Bitcoin to Dollar (USD) price is notorious for its constant state of flux. According to the above inputs, the S9 will produce** 0.285 BTC / $159 per month** and 3.36 BTC / $1939 per year. These puts Return on Investment (ROI) slightly above one year! Of course, such impressive results assume all factors stay constant which is hugely improbable in the ever-changing world of Bitcoin ...
